Meet Barre Teacher Lauren Krzesicki

What kind of classes do you teach?

I teach Pure Barre which is a collection of 45-50 minute total body workouts. Pure Barre is a series of low impact, isometric movements that are designed to target all muscle groups and produce results.

Where were you raised and where do you currently live? Age, if ok.

I am 26 and was raised just outside of Ann Arbor, Michigan and currently live in the RiNo neighborhood of Denver, Colorado.

What motivates you to get up in the morning?

The opportunity to do something a little different or be a little bit better than I was yesterday. I used to dread waking up in the morning and was bogged down by all the tasks/items that needed to be completed that finding motivation just to get out of bed was exhausting. By changing that mindset to recognize that each day is a new opportunity to be just a little bit better, a little bit stronger, fuels that motivation.

Is there a book you’re reading right now?

I am currently reading 10% Happier by Dan Harris and would highly recommend it to anyone that has struggled with taming that little voice in their head.

If you could only do two workouts a week, what would it be?

Pure Barre and spinning.

Is there a teacher that you love learning from?

Lindsey Teets, the owner of the Pure Barre Denver studios. She is constantly uplifting, an amazing teacher and is always looking for new ways to become better both in and out of her studios.

What is your favorite way to spend a day outdoors?

I love to go downhill skiing.

Are there any charities you support?

N/A

Where can we find you teaching classes?

You can find me teaching at the Pure Barre Denver studios - Highlands, Cherry Creek and opening soon, Union Station.

Last, what is in your gym bag?

Several pairs of sticky socks (you can never have too many), always a full water bottle and at least 1-2 extra hair ties.
